Description
Volvo expects that the range will be improved over time through the new Range Assistant application, which allows wireless software updates to the battery management system, improves the regeneration performance, and strengthens the battery pretreatment. In addition, the 78kwh battery pack can be quickly charged to 80% in just 40 minutes.
The infotainment system is jointly developed with Google and is based on the Android operating system. It provides consumers with built-in Google applications and services, such as Google Maps, Google Assistant and Google Play Store. Apple CarPlay will be launched in the near future. 12.3-inch driver display and 9-inch central touch screen provide all relevant information, and the central screen supports voice and touch functions. Wireless software updates can be scheduled or set to be downloaded automatically.
Volvo said that the EPA estimated range of C40 Recharge was 225 miles. In addition, the 78 kwh battery pack can quickly charge to 80% in just 40 minutes
